Valley of Hope Shelter and Recovery is proudly comprised of three champion programs, including Daybreak Shelter, Women’s View, and Pegasus House. Each unique program meets individuals where they are at and helps bring them forward to where they want to be by assisting in developing goals and successful outcomes.
DAYBREAK SHELTER
EMERGENCY SHELTER , STABILIZATION, & SUPPORT

The primary program components of Daybreak Shelter are emergency shelter services, triage, engagement, substance abuse stabilization services, outreach and assessment, referral, and educational services. All program components are delivered with competencies in culture, language, gender, disabilities, sexual orientation, and age.

RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT & RECOVERY
PEGASUS HOUSE
Pegasus House is a Residential Treatment and Recovery Services program established in 1985 to provide comprehensive treatment for individuals experiencing substance use disorders, including alcohol, opioids, and other drugs. The program serves females between the ages of 18–29 (ages 16–17 with an approved waiver). Length of stay is determined based on each individual’s clinical needs and treatment progress. Pegasus House provides a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment designed to promote recovery, personal growth, and long-term wellness. Participants engage in a therapeutic milieu that emphasizes recovery-oriented practices, development of healthy coping strategies, self-efficacy, and pro-social engagement. Programming is grounded in a holistic, developmentally informed framework that supports emotional regulation, life skills development, and sustained recovery within the community.

STRUCTURED SUPPORT FOR SOBRIETY
WOMEN'S VIEW
Women’s View is program for females 18-29 who suffer from addiction to drugs or alcohol. The program provides a stable, nurturing structure for women to learn how to balance life issues with the added stressors of maintaining sobriety. The goal of women’s view is to prepare women for the next phase of their lives as the re-integrate into the community with dignity and respect.
